About Me
I am currently completing my BSc Business Information Technology at London South Bank University (LSBU) and in my spare time I design web sites to pay for life's little luxuries.
I take a keen interest in web standards especially those recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These include creating valid XHTML and CSS source code. Alongside observing WAI accessibility standards.
Recent Achievements and Involvements:
- I took part in the Shell STEP summer placement program in 2006, I undertook a project with Stansted Laboratories to create an integrated LIS intranet and extranet, called SLIMS, winning best report in the local finals.
- In August last year I was invited back by Knowledge Dock at the University of East London, to judge the 2007 finals at Shell House in London.
- I am also currently engaged with the Humanitad Foundation as acting Director of Online Development. Having helped re-develop their online presence I continue to consult and advise them on the realisation of their online projects.
