I was inspired after seeing the header of the WordPress Foundation: a new charitable organization founded by Matt Mullenweg to further the mission of the WordPress open source project.

This particular one was created using the tags from my delicious bookmarks.

I really liked this when I first came across it. I could spend hours erm… wordling i guess. Try it for yourselves and submit one and submit it to their gallery.

Mallett Quality Management Ltd. operates nationally, offering a broad range of food safety, quality management system, health & safety and training solutions for every type of business.

They offer consulting services to all sectors of the food industry including catering operations, food manufacturing, packaging manufacturing, storage and distribution services and analytical laboratories. ISO 9001:2008 certificated and quality driven.

I was asked to develop a new online presence for MQM which would allow the company to engage with current and prospective clients using the latest web technologies to provide a richer online portal. The company was keen to embrace blogging and engage with the industry on the latest developments and thinking.

Using WordPress as a publishing platform and Google Apps for additional services such as Email and Calendar services, MQM now boasts a complete online portal which allows the company to increase value-added service.

The new Portal now features:

• New Improved logo & branding
• Bespoke WordPress Theme Design.
• Significantly Enhanced SEO.
• Blog.
• Online Shop.
• Optional Company Extranet Facility for Clients.

Emily Hiller is a London Based textile designer, specialising in the traditional technique of Macrame.

After Studying BA Multi Media Textiles at Loughborough University she went on to study MA Fashion at Central St Martins School of Art.

She has since worked in on a range of different projects ranging from designing garments for London Fashion Week to designing the window display in Topshop.

Recently she was commissioned to design and create knotted hangings and work in frames for Topshop stores in the UK.

A site was required to showcase her recent work and act as a portfolio. A WordPress site was created with an adaptation of the Viewport theme by Paul Bennett was implemented. The site focuses on the photography of her work allowing it to speak for itself.

The Humanitad Foundation is an international non-profit committed to promotion of interfaith & intercultural tolerance. They do this through global arts and cultural exposition, neutral dialogue and the facilitation of coherent and progressive exchange amongst international leadership.

I began working with the Humanitad Foundation whilst at University and helped re-develop their web site as part of my dissertation. I have since helped develop Humanitad IT programs and strategy on a pro-bono basis.

Recently I have been advising and consulting at a strategic level, the development of the online platform for the inaugural UN Millennium Development Goals Awards which Humanitad are executive producers of.

Noel Park Primary School  required a new website that would allow them to communicate more effectively with pupils and parents alike.

For this project a complete website, including bespoke CMS, was developed. The system allows teachers and office staff to log in and make changes to structure and content of the site.

As the site was intended for both adults and children, the design was kept simple and clean. I worked very closley with the school during the design process to ensure this.
