Noel Park Primary School  required a new website that would allow them to communicate more effectively with pupils and parents alike.

For this project a complete website, including bespoke CMS, was developed. The system allows teachers and office staff to log in and make changes to structure and content of the site.

As the site was intended for both adults and children, the design was kept simple and clean. I worked very closley with the school during the design process to ensure this.

Technology Used

The entire site renders as valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
CSS
Cascading Style Sheets are used to manage the styling of the website.
RSS
All news articles are available within an RSS news feed allowing syndication of content.
PHP
PHP is the dynamic server side scripting language that was used to create the Content Management System and which runs the website.
MySQL
MySQL is an open-source database which holds and stores the website structure and content
