I didn’t pay much attention to it until I noticed someone lurch over me on a packed carriage one evening to take a photo of it. Not your normal behavior, admittedly. It struck me as quite strange, especially as the poster was of nothing in particular other than a white cross on a black background. Thats it!

Last weekend, the plot thickened further as I ventured to a party at the Manor House Warehouse and noticed, en route, several white crosses spray painted on the floor. It appeared that they were leading the way….

Does anyone know what the hell these crosses are all about??

Is this some kind of giant Derren Brown exercise where we all end up robbing a bank.

…or is this a reincarnation of the Nokia Game.

Thanks to Chris Blundell for tweeting this and Yalda Graham for solving this one. Apparently all a cunning marketing stunt for the band ‘The XX‘ a refreshing bunch of minimalist music lovers who I’ve actually heard of!

Originally from Wandsworth, London. Catch their remixed version of Florence and the machine’s ‘You’ve got the Love’ – great version. Plus the amazing track Heart Skipped A Beat. Reckon these guy’s might be a little huge this year.

Doing what he does. Mainly on walls. With Stencils. Being dubbed a “Street art disaster movie” I’m intrigued to see how it turns out. No doubt a heady, action packed, tongue-in-cheek adventure with a healthy dose of anti-capitalism awaits.
